Theater Festival "Theatre in One Act"
The theater festival “Theatre in one act” is a cult manifestation of a long and rich tradition and of exceptional importance for Mladenovac. The selection of the best plays and top performance on stage, as well as exhibitions, promotions, music and other cultural content. Founded in 1975. and renewed in 2006 with a new concept. called “Theatre in one act”. Year after year, the festival records the growth of visitors who have the opportunity to watch the latest production of renowned theaters in accordance with the chosen theme. In addition to performances, the program consists of exhibitions, promotions, musical and other cultural events.
ART COLONY MLADENOVAC
ART COLONY MLADENOVCA is an international painting manifestation, founded more than three decades ago (1987), with the aim of gathering excellent artists, developing and improving art. It takes place in the last week of July, during which artists, inspired by the city, paint, icon paint, make graphics and installations. Every year, all the works created at the colony are exhibited at the joint final exhibition, which is organized in the galleries “Likum” and “Foja” of the Center for Culture and Tourism Mladenovac.
Walter Fest
In 2018, the Mladenovac Center for Culture and Tourism started this festival with the idea of preserving the memory of the film great Velimir Bata Živojinović, who left an indelible mark with numerous film roles and celebrated Yugoslav and Serbian cinematography.
Over time, as the festival developed, the Film Center of Serbia, the Ministry of Culture, and the City Municipality of Mladenovac joined us.

ŠUMADIJA METAPHORS
for more than three decades, they have been gathering writers who write in the Serbian language. This literary manifestation is an international competition of poets and prose writers. It was organized for the first time in 1988. year. It starts in March with the publication of the competition, and ends in the second week of October with the promotion of the collection and the awarding of prizes. Since 1997. a book is published for the winner in the poetry category, and since 1992 a collection of the best annual papers is published. Since 2005. In 2008, the Charter for the lifetime achievement of “Karađorđe” in the field of poetic creation was also established.
Kids
KIDS is an event that gathers the youngest audience in December with selected theater performances and films. Accompanying programs are aimed at the active participation of children, they are primarily entertaining, but also educational in nature. The center of the event is the cinema hall and gallery “Foyer” of the Center for Culture and Tourism Mladenovac, and the event records an increasing number of visitors every year.
DIONYSUS FESTIVAL
DIONIS FEST is an exceptional cultural and tourist event organized by the Mladenovac Center for Culture and Tourism in cooperation with the Wine Routes of Serbia.
The presence of eminent exhibitors will enable visitors to taste top wines and learn about the production methods and traditions of numerous wineries, as well as contemporary trends in wine production through oenological workshops and lectures by eminent experts. The event is completed by the BALLOON FESTIVAL and the FESTIVAL OF KNIGHTS, which in an exciting way connects history, tradition, chivalry and the ancient culture of wine production and consumption. Also, as part of DIONIS FEST, visitors can view the attractive OLD-TIMER EXHIBITION as another shining reflection of good bygone times.
